Calgary schooling runs on designated boundaries set by the public (CBE) and Catholic (CCSD) boards, and those designations can and do change as southeast communities grow. The community has school sites within it and established options in the neighbouring communities, spanning elementary through high school across both boards.

The rule we give every buyer

Never buy on an assumed school designation. Before you write an offer on a specific address, check that address directly against the CBE and CCSD school-finder tools for the current year — designations are set by address, not by community name, and busing/walk zones differ street to street. We do this check with clients as part of any Mahogany offer.

Beyond the designated schools

Southeast Calgary also offers alternative programs (language immersion, science, arts and faith-based options) with their own admission rules and transport realities — worth weighing against the convenience of the in-community sites.
