By suburban Calgary standards, genuinely yes — it was planned around a main street, and daily errands on High Street are a walk, not a drive, from much of the community. The honest caveat: walkability varies by quarter. High Street and Inverness feel it most; the outer crescents of Prestwick and Elgin live closer to a conventional suburb.
